Jagannath Puri Temple
 Thousands of devotees worship the deity here who is the Lord of the Universe. The rath yatra or the chariot procession is another feat here that makes the place famous. Situated in Puri, Orrissa this also constitutes one of the 4 dhams or revered religious visits by devotees. The theories also indicate a Buddhist influence in the construction of the temple. The architecture is certainly unique with copper plates originally belonging to a dynasty. Several functions are conducted periodically for devotees to enjoy the religious fervor.
