A Sunday or a Thursday has its origin somewhere with a logic behind the same. The discoveries seem to shed light as to how months or weeks were named. For instance, as per Roman belief, the June month represents Goddess Juno and septem means 7 which is the seventh month as per the Roman calendar. March is from Mars representing the god of war. Sunday must have represented the Sun day or the moon day is also said as Monday. Saturn is felt high on Saturday and hence the name.
